The 2025 holiday season is coming fast, and that means shipping deadlines are more important than ever. Missing a cutoff date can lead to late deliveries, disappointed customers, and lost sales. That’s why ShipSaving has compiled all the latest USPS, UPS and FedEx holiday shipping deadlines for you in one easy-to-read guide.
Whether you’re an e-commerce seller preparing for peak season or a personal shipper sending gifts, knowing these dates is key to staying ahead. Check out the tables below, plan your shipments early, and set your business up for holiday success.
USPS has released its recommended deadlines for domestic, international, and military shipments to arrive before December 25. Keep in mind that actual delivery dates may vary depending on the origin, destination, Post Office™ acceptance time, and other factors.
Since August 1, 2023, USPS no longer processes refund requests for guaranteed Priority Mail Express® service. To avoid disappointing customers or late gifts, we recommend building in a few extra buffer days to account for weather delays or other unexpected disruptions to carrier operations.
If you plan to ship with expedited services for your domestic shipments, UPS offers recommended deadlines for UPS 3 Day Select®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, and UPS Next Day Air® to help your packages arrive by December 24, 2025.
UPS also provides specific shipping deadlines from the U.S. to Canada and the U.S. to Mexico, helping you plan ahead for timely cross-border deliveries.
For shipments from the U.S. to other international destinations, you can use ShipSaving’s Quick Rate tool to calculate estimated delivery based on your destination and selected UPS service.

FedEx provides a variety of domestic and international shipping services with different speeds, prices, and holiday cutoff dates. For international shipments, FedEx publishes specific deadlines for shipping from the U.S. to Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico (a U.S. territory).
For other international destinations, delivery times may vary. To get an estimate for additional countries, use the ShipSaving Quick Rate tool to compare services and plan your shipments with confidence.
USPS will be closed on the following holidays, with no mail pickup or delivery, and Post Offices will be closed:
There will be no UPS® pickup or delivery service on these dates, and the UPS Store® locations may be closed. Check with your local store for specific hours of operation.
